At the Fountain of Health Medical Spa, our main love is & will always be Ayurveda. Our team is comprised of a skilled Ayurvedic Physician, Jessica Lusignan, and bodywork therapists whom are all experts in the principles of Āyurveda, with a specialization in Panchakarma therapies.
We provide seasonal Panchakarma treatments in the spring and fall seasons, in alignment with the Ayurveda Samhitas. This detoxifying process involves a series of therapeutic procedures designed to eliminate toxins, enhance digestion, and restore balance to the doshas.
For those seeking targeted treatment for specific health conditions, we offer Panchakarma therapies year-round. This approach addresses the underlying causes of physical and mental imbalances, offering effective solutions for both acute and chronic ailments.
Panchakarma is just one of many options available for supporting individuals on their healthcare journey.
Restore, Renew, and Rebalance From Within
We begin with foundational care rooted in herbal medicine, personalized nutrition, and lifestyle guidance to support your body’s natural rhythms and address the root causes of imbalance. By cultivating resilient digestion, balanced hormones, steady energy, and restorative sleep through food, plant therapies, and daily habit refinement, we create the internal environment necessary for long-term wellness and graceful aging.
Once this foundation is set, we amplify your results with advanced modern therapies. Our Med Spa offers targeted peptide protocols to support deep sleep, lean muscle, collagen production, metabolism, and recovery; bioidentical hormone optimization to enhance mood, libido, clarity, and vitality; and Low Dose Naltrexone to gently modulate inflammation, support immunity, and optimize your body’s endorphin response. For rapid nourishment and cellular revitalization, we also offer IV and IM nutrient therapy, delivering vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream for fast absorption and immediate impact.
Whether you are prioritizing longevity, hormonal balance, metabolic support, performance, or simply the desire to feel like yourself again, our comprehensive inside-out approach blends the wisdom of nature with the precision of modern science—empowering you to thrive at every stage of life.
True healing and long-term vitality come from consistent support - not just one-time interventions. Our integrative approach blends the strengths of modern medicine, functional and lifestyle strategies, mind-body practices, and natural therapeutics to address the whole person. With guidance that may include nutrition, herbal or supplement protocols, stress resilience practices, movement recommendations, sleep optimization, advanced diagnostics, and targeted medical therapies, we support your health from multiple angles so you can continue to progress, adapt, and thrive.
To make ongoing care accessible, we offer affordable subscription options for continued follow-up and accountability. These monthly wellness memberships provide consistent touchpoints, messaging support between visits, medication or protocol adjustments when needed, and personalized plan updates to ensure your care evolves with you. Whether you desire close guidance during an active healing phase or lighter seasonal check-ins for maintenance, we have tiered options to match your needs and budget.

It provides a steady rhythm of support, prevents setbacks, and empowers you to build sustainable habits that align with your goals for energy, longevity, hormonal balance, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. With a practitioner who sees you as a whole person -not a diagnosisyou receive individualized care that is proactive, preventive, and deeply patient-centered.
How does Ayurveda Work as Integrative Medicine?
Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine, works as integrative medicine by combining its holistic approach to health with modern medical practices. It focuses on balancing the body, mind, and spirit to promote overall well-being and prevent diseases. When used solely or in conjunction with conventional medicine, Ayurveda offers [complementary] therapies that enhance healing and improve quality of life.
Here’s how it works in an integrative context:
1. Holistic Approach to Health
Ayurveda emphasizes treating the whole person rather than just symptoms:
• Focuses on balancing the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), which represent physiological and psychological forces in the body.
• Addresses root causes of illness by considering lifestyle, diet, emotions, and environment.
This complements conventional medicine, which often targets specific diseases or symptoms.
2. Personalized Care
Ayurveda provides individualized treatments based on a person’s constitution (Prakriti) and current imbalances (Vikriti). This aligns with the modern emphasis on personalized or precision medicine, enhancing the effectiveness of treatment plans.
3. Preventive Care
• Ayurveda places significant emphasis on preventive health through diet (Ahara), daily routines (Dinacharya), and seasonal practices (Ritucharya).
• Incorporates stress management techniques like yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises, which are increasingly recognized in conventional medicine for improving mental and physical health.
4. Natural Therapies
Ayurvedic therapies, when combined with modern treatments, can reduce side effects and improve outcomes:
• Herbal Remedies: Ayurvedic herbs (e.g., Ashwagandha, Turmeric) are studied for their adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties.
• Massage and Detoxification: Panchakarma (detox therapies) and Abhyanga (oil massages) support recovery by reducing stress and improving circulation.
• Mind-Body Practices: Practices like yoga and meditation complement conventional care by enhancing relaxation, reducing chronic pain, and improving mental clarity.
5. Managing Chronic Conditions
• Arthritis: Using anti-inflammatory herbs and oil therapies alongside modern pain management.
• Diabetes: Dietary guidelines and herbs like Gymnema Sylvestre (Gurmar) support glucose control.
• Mental Health: Integrating Ayurvedic practices for stress and anxiety with psychotherapy or medication.
6. Evidence-Based Integration
Modern research increasingly supports Ayurvedic practices:
• Curcumin (from turmeric) is widely studied for its anti-inflammatory and cancer-preventive properties.
• Ashwagandha has shown promise in reducing stress and enhancing stamina in clinical trials.
This scientific validation allows Ayurveda to be safely integrated with Western medicine, fostering trust and acceptance.
Potential Benefits:
• Improved quality of life by addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Reduced dependence on pharmaceuticals in some cases, lowering the risk of side effects.
• Enhanced recovery by supporting the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
By focusing on balance, prevention, and personalized care, Ayurveda complements modern medicine and offers a comprehensive approach to health and healing.
